Praxis — FCA Rectification Delivery Support · Effective Date: 15 June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between Saltire Finance Ltd, a company registered in Scotland ("we", "us", "our"), and the individual or organisation accessing or using Praxis ("you", "User").
By accessing, downloading, installing, or using Praxis ("the Tool"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Tool.
Praxis is an FCA rectification delivery support application provided by Saltire Finance Ltd. It operates on a client-side architecture: all project data entered by users is stored locally within the user's browser or local device environment. Saltire Finance Ltd does not collect, transmit, store, or process any project data entered into the Tool on its own servers.
Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable subscription fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Tool for your internal business or professional purposes. You may not:
The Tool, including its design, structure, code, content, and all associated materials, is the exclusive intellectual property of Saltire Finance Ltd and is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other applicable laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. Your use of the Tool does not grant you any rights in or to the Tool except as expressly set out in these Terms.
All feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the Tool may be used by Saltire Finance Ltd without restriction or compensation to you.

You must not use the Tool for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
The Tool is a project and portfolio management application. It is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other financial regulatory body, and does not constitute financial advice, compliance software, or a regulated product.
Where you use the Tool in a financial services environment, you are solely responsible for ensuring that your use complies with all applicable regulatory obligations, including but not limited to those imposed by the FCA, the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), or any equivalent body. We make no representation that the Tool meets the requirements of any specific regulatory framework. You should obtain independent professional advice before relying on the Tool in any regulated context.
As noted in Section 2, the Tool operates on a client-side basis. We do not access or process project data entered into the Tool. We may collect limited personal data in connection with account registration, subscription management, and communications (for example, your name and email address). Any such data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
You are responsible for ensuring that any personal data of third parties you enter into the Tool is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law.
The Tool is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Saltire Finance Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Tool.
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or £100 where no fees have been paid.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Tool at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, the licence granted under Section 3 will immediately cease. Since data is stored client-side, you are responsible for retaining any data you wish to keep prior to termination.
Sections 4, 8, 9, 11, and 12 will survive termination of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms on our website or via email. Your continued use of the Tool following such notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Saltire Finance Ltd in relation to your use of the Tool and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
